O My Gosh. I haven't posted for over two months :(

So sorry that it has been so long. We haven't even taken our christmas pics for our cards yet so those might be a little late this year. heads up! Ashlee is almost two and is acting like a two years old. But on the bright side he is learning to go to the bathroom like a big boy! His hair is looking like a mullet/rat tail. Nice, huh. But I still refuse to cut it. Here are a few new pics. The first pics is our latest finishedish project! yeah

Here is the latest pics of our growing chickens.

Pretty flowers!
Poker time. Like the sippy cup instead of beer mug!
The chicken on the left is "naughty chicken" and the one on the right is "richard simmons"
Ash will give the chickens kissed on their backs when they are eating. He loves his chickens and they are getting a larger coop inside the barn here soon. Building in progress! Something warmer for the winter.

It's been sooo long! some more pics for ya!

The boys and the dirt. The two just can't seem to stay away from each other.

Just loved the uggs and the naked butt. He thinks he is sooo cool.

Frick and Frack!

Frick and Frack are the names of our newest family members at the farm. The Goats! They are both female Nigerian dwarf goats, known for their friendliness and milk production. They will only be about 18 inches tall at the shoulders when full grown. They are definatly a welcome addition to the farm. Frick is the black and white one and she is about 5 mo. and Frack is the brown and black lady and she is about 8 mo. old. Ashlee LOVES them, always cries when we have to go inside. The chickens are getting bigger. We lost 5 chicks to a friends dog who accidentaly got in the barn, he was a bird dog. BUT, they were replaced with 6 hens, 3 different new breeds, so now we have 17 chickens of 6 different breeds. The diversity is really exciting around here! Ash is talking all the time, some words, but alot of nonsense! His hair is always a disaster sometimes with mini dreads even. We love it!

the Chickens

Just some new pics, a little update. The chickens are now in the barn except for the 4 bantams which are too small to put out yet. We are getting the coop all clean and ready for them as well. Hopefully we will be getting a couple of goats this summer, but we may have to wait till spring.

Farm Life

So, I appologize that it has been such a long time since we posted. Sonce moving we have had to set up satelite internet ( which sucks) and new dish TV and our cell phone aren't working, so we have been a little off the grid. But finally some pics of the farm. We just got chickens yesterday so we have 17 tiny little baby chicks and I believe we have a couple of pigmee goats coming this week or next. Things are only getting crazier! We welcome visitors anytime. Feel free to invite yourself, too! just bring beer and we're all good! So the farm... Ashlee loves it here. We go out and pick the strawberries and eat them every morning, right off the bush. He thinks he owns the place or something. Sometimes he thinks everything is edible so he's taken down a few flowers and weeds. Ooops! We are adjusting well and things are moving faster than ever. Here is just a glimpse of the farm.
